About Us

About Us

Who We Are

We are a group comprised of imperfect people.  We are sinners who have accepted and submitted to the good news of Jesus Christ and have come to know God through Him (John 14:6).  Our purpose is to associate, assemble and work together as a local church family to accomplish God’s purpose for individuals, community and mankind.

What We Believe

Our faith rests on the fact that Jesus is “the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” ( John 1:29)  As part of His saved body we acknowledge that Christ is our head and our only source of authority.  In our effort to honor Him, His word (the Bible) teaches us to love (1 John 4:7, 1 Corinthians 16:14), serve (Mark 10:45; 1 Peter 4:10) and grow (Ephesians 4:15).

What to Expect

You will find us, as God’s people, spending time praising Him for transforming our broken lives through His Holy Spirit.  We seek to draw closer to Him (James 4:8) and our purpose is reflected in Colossians 1:9-11:  “We continually ask God to fill us with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that we may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,  being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience.”  We extend to you a warm invitation to be “rescued from the rule of darkness and brought into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”  Colossians 1:13-14

When you Visit

We meet every Sunday to praise our God with singing, prayer and study.  We remember our Lord's sacrifice by sharing together in the Lord's supper.  You can expect a warm, open-armed welcome from our church family.  We will strive to make sure that your time spent with us is uplifting, and spiritually profitable, and we hope that you will see we want nothing more than to worship God in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).
